VeeV Acai Spirit
VeeV is the first spirit ever made with Açaí. Açaí is a berry grown in the Amazon jungle in Brazil, well-known by the indigenous population for its positive health effects. Açaí has long been used in vitamin drinks throughout Brazil, and in recent years has made its way onto the international marketplace. Fortunately for all of us, the good folks at VeeV found it while on a surfing trip to Brazil.Açaí is known to have 50% more antioxidants than pomegranate and blueberries, and 30 times more than red wine.
VeeV Açaí Spirit mixes well with just about anything. It can be used in place of gin, rum, vodka, cachaça or any other clear spirit. And at 30% alcohol (60 proof), it still packs a punch, but does not go overboard. Because VeeV is a clear spirit, the color options remain infinite.
We found VeeV Açaí Spirit mixes well in all classic cocktails, but we prefer it in fruit-juice based drinks. In certain drinks, VeeV simply disappears amongst the tropical paradise of a great highball drink. And in other drinks, it stands out with a flavor that reminds you of a prickly pear cactus and a smell of a fine grape liqueur.
